Patriots Dominate the Night Against Knights 52-7
The Patriot football team hosted the Knights of Kentucky Christian University on Saturday and did not disappoint in front of the home crowd. Scoring in all facets of the game, UC dominated the line of scrimmage all night as they defeated the Knights 52-7 to move to 3-4 on the season (2-1 MSC East).

Patriots Ladies Earn Runner-Up Finish At Green River Classic
The UC Women's Bowling team returned to the lanes this past weekend in Campbellsville to take part in the 2016 Green River Classic. With 10 teams competing in the classic, the Patriot ladies looked to keep their momentum after a win last weekend at the LMU Railsplitter Baker Kick Off. UC had a solid day one finishing the day in second place, just under 200 pins behind host Campbellsville. The Pats would rally and cut into the lead, but not enough as they earned a runner-up finish.

Patriots Set to Face Union in the Battle for the Brass Lantern
The University of the Cumberlands football team is looking to retain the Brass Lantern this weekend when they travel to Barbourville, KY to face Mid-South Conference rival Union Saturday at 7 p.m. It will be the 32nd meeting between these two schools, with the Patriots leading the all-time series 21-10.

Women’s Bowling Wins 1st Event in School History at Railsplitter Baker Kickoff; Men Finish 6th
The UC Bowling teams opened their 2016-17 seasons this past weekend as they traveled to Harrogate, Tennessee for the Railsplitter Baker Kickoff hosted by Lincoln Memorial University. At this competition, the teams would compete in 36 Baker games in hopes to qualify for the winner-take-all tournament. The men's team would finish 6th of 10 competing teams while the women's team would win the tournament, marking the first tournament championship won by a UC bowling team in school history.

Late Game FG Sinks Patriots at Cumberland University
The Football Patriots were looking for their first road win of the season on Saturday in Lebanon, Tennessee as they faced the Phoenix of Cumberland University (CU). UC would battle back to tie the ballgame twice, but a field goal late in the 4th quarter would be the deciding factor as the Phoenix would defeat the Patriots 17-14, moving UC to 2-2 overall on the season.

Patriot Football Opens Season Strong with Win over #17 Campbellsville
On a historic night in Williamsburg, Kentucky, the UC Football Patriots opened their 2016 season under the lights on Thursday night against the NAIA #17 ranked Tigers of Campbellsville University (CU). The Patriots would fall behind early, but would show grit and determination as they would score 23 straight points to take the lead. CU would score again in the 4th, but the Pats would hold tight for the 23-17 victory. The win moves the Patriots to 1-0 on the season.

Patriot Football Pounds Wildcats in 59-7 Route
The University of the Cumberlands (UC) Football program looked for their first 3 game winning streak under Head Coach Matt Rhymer on Saturday as they hosted the Bethel University Wildcats. It was UC's game from the start as the Patriots would hang 16 points on the Wildcats in the first 90 seconds of the game and would never look back. UC would come away with a 59-7 victory over Bethel, moving UC to 4-1 overall on the season.

Campbellsville University holds pinning ceremony for 55 Carver School graduates
"This is not a rite of passage, but rather an effort earned and successfully achieved by our graduating students," Dr. Darlene Eastridge, dean of Campbellsville University's Carver School of Social Work and Counseling, said during the Carver School of Social Work and Counseling pinning ceremony May 2 in The Gheens Recital Hall in the Gosser Fine Arts Center.

Campbellsville University graduates 612 in academic year; 416 in May graduations
CU graduated 152 master's students Friday night, May 2, 2014, in Ransdell Chapel, with 264 graduates Saturday morning, May 3, for a total of 416 students receiving their diplomas upon completion of all academic requirements. In CU's December commencement, 196 received their diplomas for a total of 612 students in this year's graduating class of 2013-2014.
